Selfwealth is a trading platform that Grow SMSF customers can use to access the ASX, US and Hong Kong stock markets.

ANZ cash trading account

The trading platform has it's own internal bank account.

The bank account is provided by ANZ however is only available to transact upon via the Selfwealth platform. You will not be able to view or interact with this account via ANZ Online and the account is different to any transactional account such as the ANZ V2 Account you may have for your SMSF.

When you open an new SMSF trading account with Selfwealth, you will be provided with a unique BSB and Account number. The BSB will be 016-949.

To trade via Selfwealth you first need to transfer funds from your existing SMSF transaction bank account to your unique Selfwealth bank account so the monies are available for trading.

Deposits into the Selfwealth ANZ cash account

The account will also be the default account to receive dividend a distribution payments. Selfwealth will automatically update any share registries with these account details on your behalf.

You can opt to re-direct dividends and distributions to a different SMSF bank account of your choice, however you will need to do this yourself manually with the respective share registries (Link, Computershare, Automic etc).

If you had an Selfwealth account with a 013-901 BSB, this will be converted to a new cash account in June 2025. You would have received emails from Selfwealth about this change.

The rollout of the new ANZ back Selfwealth cash account will improve the deposit and withdrawal time for your funds moving in and out of Selfwealth.

Share registry updates

Importantly, the change of the Selfwealth cash account will trigger an update of your nominated bank account details with share registries, and you will likely receive a postal confirmation of this change.

This is nothing to be alarmed about. You can verify your Selfwealth cash account details via the Selfwealth platform at any time.
