To close your Macquarie Cash Management Account (CMA) or Cash Management Accelerator Account, the easiest method is to download and complete the Macquarie Withdrawal Form.
Lodgement time: For your withdrawal to be processed on the same business day, your request must be received prior to 12pm (AEST) Sydney time.

Delays may occur in processing a withdrawal, for example due to the following scenarios:
the withdrawal form is received outside of business hours (e.g. on a national public holiday or weekend)
authorisation of the transaction needs to be verified
if this is the first transaction to your account after a long period of inactivity
same day transfers may not be applicable for funds going to credit unions and building societies.
Macquarie may reasonably delay, or ask you for further information before acting on, an instruction.

To close the Macquarie account, select this option under 2. Withdrawal details
Sign the Form
You must sign the form. Whether only one person (trustee/director) or two people need to sign depends on the signing instructions on the account.

If one person can authorise a transfer (sole authority) the only one person needs to sign the form.
A wet-ink signature is the best way to guarantee fast processing of your withdrawal.
